Editor cannot edit pending review posts of other authors

  • Hi, I have been facing a severe issue after updating WordPress to 3.6 version. Most of the time when as editor I try to edit a post it gives following error and it so often but sometimes it doesn’t.

    The website encountered an error while retrieving https://mywebsite/wp-admin/post.php?post=71357&action=edit. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
    Error Code 500.

    It only happens for the editors not administrators. Sometimes it does same with “Draft” posts. For further info the posts I am editing are public not private. This seems a Bug after Post Lock Feature added in WP 3.6 version.

    A quick help will be highly appreciated.
