Find Shashin photo ID

    Hi,

    I have been using Shashin for a while on my blog fafafoom.com, however just a week ago, I can no longer add pictures to my blog posts using “Add Media”. Uploading and setting featured images are working fine, but adding pictures to blog posts no longer works.

    This is very troublesome because I can no longer add shashin pictures to my blog posts. Is there a way I can fine the picture IDs from a Shashin album once I synced it to WordPress? I can still “call” the pictures manually, but without the Shashin picture IDs, I’m toast!

    If you go to the Shashin tools menu, and click on any album title, you can see thumbnails of all the photos in the album, and their Shashin IDs. But I’m puzzled you can no longer use the Add Media option. It should work with all recent versions of WordPress. The only thing I can think of is that there may be an incompatibility with some other plugin. Have you added any plugins recently that also use the media menu?

    It’s good to know there’s a way to see each pictures’ Shashin ID. I no longer has problem with Add Media button; there was indeed a conflict between the theme I’m using with a plugin. But now my blog fafafoom.com works fine! Yay!
