Disqus formatting problem with Twenty Thirteen theme

Try adding this to your css:

width: 60%;
}

I was able to fix the same problem! Here’s how to fix it:

To adjust the width of Disqus In the TWENTY THIRTEEN default theme for WordPress, you’ll need to do the following:
– enable “output JavaScript in footer” in the Disqus WordPress plugin settings
– add the ‘entry-content’ class to the disqus_thread div in the comments.php plugin file, shown here: https://disqus-cloudfront.s3.amazonaws.com/docs/entry-content-class.png

I was facing the same problem. Worked for me too. Thanks Chuckie

I fixed it by adding a ‘disqus_thread’ class in some plugin file and then assigning 60% width to it in my child theme’s style.css

Add this to style.css

#disqus_thread {
max-width: 640px;
width: 100%;
margin-right:auto;
padding: 5px;
padding-left: 30px;
}

This will make it responsive for large screens as well as tiny mobile devices, tested.

These instructions are good, but I would suggest using the comment-respond class instead of entry-comment. This will give the section it’s own background color and proper spacing.
