    did you already deleted old attributes at Settings > General > General Options > Event Attributes? If you have an attribute you deleted but the attribute was saved to a previous event, it should still show those values.

    Yes, I have gone in and deleted them but for some reason, two of the same attributes appear on the event admin pages, yet there is only one attribute in the Settings > General > General Options > Event Attributes section.

    Thanks for your help!

    I see, I tested this and confirmed to @marcus; if you deleted a custom event attribute it won’t be deleted in the previous event which already use that attribute

    I can provide my wp-admin for you to view an event page. I’ve created the attribute “Twitter url” in General -> General Options -> Event Attributes – yet it shows the “Twitter url” text field twice on event pages.

    I see what you mean now, your custom event attribute is showing twice on event edit page, is this correct? also, could it be that you’ve added a space in one the the attributes name that is what it shows twice ?

    (@familyoffestivals)

    Yes, that’s correct. I’m a little confused as to what you mean on the second part. Any help from the author on this one? Have you seen this issue before? I’d like to be able to have users add events, but until I get this resolved, I have them use a contact form then manually add each event myself.

    What Angelo is referring to is that you may have added two #_ATT placeholders in your formats on your settings page.

    If you created one that may have an extra space e.g.

    #_ATT{123}
    #_ATT{123 }

    They’d be treated as two different fields.

    That’s the strange thing though, there’s only one. I’ve got through my database looking for two of the same attribute and still only find one. Any more ideas? Getting this resolved will enable the event promoters I’m seeking to easily add events, I just need to make the form as clear as possible for them, but it’s hard when there are two event attributes.

    have you tried to check wp_em_events table then check field event_attributes?

    Yes I’ve looked for it everywhere. Anybody an expert with this plugin who I can trust to give my admin info to so they can possibly go in and see if they see anything that could be causing the problem? Let me know, it would be much appreciated!

    Ok I’m seeing two of the same attributes under my wp_em_events table > event_attributes – any idea why it’s creating two of the same and how I can stop it from happening in the future?

    I only have it once under the Events Manager > Settings > Event Attributes.

    could it be a plugin conflict? have you tried to temporarily just to rule out any plugin conflict:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    I have the same problem. After I put extra space to the attribute name, it’s appearing twice on the New Event page.

    Event after I remove the attribs from the code, the attrib fields are still showing on the event registration page. it seems like deletion doesn’t work
