Can anyone please help me with this issure? I have never had a problem with updraft until today. I went to restore my site to a previous db, and it keeps failing all of a sudden. I get this error, Failed to find database file (/home4/a*****/public_html/wp-content/upgrade/backup_2013-08-01-1824_*********_e139*******8-db/backup.db.gz)

First I thought maybe if I place an instance of that database gzipped into the location the plugin cant seem to find, it would work, but I never had to do that before so I thought it was weird to begin with….

I thought maybe I needed to update the plugin or something, so I tried to, and I get this error:

An error occurred while updating UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore: The package could not be installed. The plugin contains no files.

I am in dire need to fix this asap, so any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi Alex,

It sounds possibly like your WordPress install might have some trouble with file permissions. Your best bet would be to get a support incident from https://updraftplus.com/shop/ – if the problem turns out to be a defect in UpdraftPlus, then there’s a 100% refund guarantee.

    Hi Alex,

On the plugin updates: Can you try updating the plugin again? Did you get it from updraftplus.com or www.remarpro.com? There was a problem with the serving delivering updates for a few hours yesterday. I’d assumed you didn’t get it from updraftplus.com (since updraftplus.com has its own support forum), but if you did, then please try again!

    David
