Theme Not showing up after installation

Could be that the index.php file for that theme is not there or corrupt so consider deleting and reuploading all the files in wp-content/themes/spring.

Or the wp-content/themes/spring folder needs ‘higher permissions’ such as 755 (or even 777).

Thank you so much for the tips. Like I said I’m a total newbie to all this. I used Fantastico to upload WP, that’s about all I know. I’ve read over your posts again and again and the suggested links and I don’t know what it all means.

Do you have any more basic hints?

In the ftp client that you used to upload the theme can you see the theme directory ( it should be a subdirectory of wp-comtent/themes/ ) and what files does it have within it?
