WP User Name shows as Author Name on Posts

    The name I created for my Admin access is showing up as the Author. I’ve checked thru and can’t find anywhere to change this. Would appreciate finding out how I managed to do this, so I don’t do it again.
    I’m currently setting this up on my localhost thankfully, so this problem has not been broadcasted to the wide world.

  • under users> edit the user and change “Display name publicly as” as you want

    Firstly – thanks heaps for the very fast response. Secondly, THANK YOU sooooo much. Easy when you know how and what to do. I looked everywhere for that! You’re a lifesaver.
    I’ve just posted a query about transparency – any ideas?
