Child theme cannot redeclare error

I am getting a ” Cannot redeclare twentythirteen_setup()… /wordpress/wp-content/themes/twentythirteen/functions.php on line 104″ error in creating a child theme of twentythirteen. The line on 105 (not 104) is add_action( ‘after_setup_theme’, ‘twentythirteen_setup’ ); Do I just remove that?
