Meta titles for blog posts are being overwritten by main blog title

Thank you for reading! So I have scoured the internet and can’t seem to find the answer to this. The meta titles for the individual blog posts are not showing up. When I check the source code and auto-generated title preview in social media shares the main blog’s meta title displays.
For example, the title for this post (https://blog.thefuture.fm/dj-mixes/yves-v-live-tomorrowland-2013/) is “Yves V – Live @ Tomorrowland 2013” via the WordPress title and SEO plugin however the source code and generated text on social shares (like Facebook) is “Thefuture.fm Blog – DJ news, live event coverage, mixes, podcasts, exclusives & more.” (which is what the meta title of the main blog is.
All of the blog posts are the same way. I have tried:
– replacing the title code in the header.php with <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>– deactivating and re-activating the plugin
– ensure that the script code is closed
– ensuring that the post types under “Titles & Metas” have the %%title%% tag
What am I doing wrong? If someone could please help me I would be so grateful! Thank you again for reading!
