Upgraded WordPress to 3.6 – Next Gen Gallery No Longer Workds

i just get a “no images were found” on the gallery listing page i had set up.

We have the same problem after updating to WP 3.6 and NextGen. Thumbnails not showing up. Checked the folder for Gallery and photos/thumbnails are there. But we dont see them in backend/post page.

Yup it’s not working for me either. Getting:

I had to roll back to an earlier version because my site is live and it was breaking important pages on my site.

theres any way to downgrade wordpress 3.6 to 3.5.2 so i can get my site up.

Hey all, this issue has been resolved in our latest beta here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/ . You can go ahead and install that following instructions and it should resolve that error you’re seeing, or alternatively you can choose to rollback until we push out our next update: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/ which we hope to have available within this next week.

I uploaded the 2.0.2 latest beta and still get the error message at the top of the page.

I cleared all caches, history and reset the browser and get the same results. The admin says I’m running the latest beta 2.0.2 so I’m not sure what else I can do.

@behladesign: Passing this on to the developers to look at. This is the first case I think where that error wasn’t resolved in the upgrade. Erick

@behladesign: Actually, I also wanted to say that if you’d like us to look at your site, you can submit a bug report via our forum and include WP and FTP credentials. If you do, say Erick asked you to submit credentials regarding the preg_match issue.

I was able to fix the code for the error message.

The problem is on Nextgen plugin. File name is and path is nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/router

Problematic line is

I did this

if (@preg_match($param_regex, $source, $matches)) {

after following the instructions, i still get the same error i got before (no images were found) but now it appears on my page twice. https://bodyartbyshara.com/gallery/

sadly even the latest update still isn’t working for me. i’m back to getting the error message only once though. the shortcode i use simply calls all albums. [album id=0]

@emilysparkle: We’re mostly dealing with the preg_match error in this thread. I see from above your is a no images found message.

For future reference, can you start a new thread when the issue you have is different from the original poster? Otherwise, as happened here, we totally over look it. Especially given the recent volume.

As for your error, first, to confirm, it’s only happening for that one specific shortcode, right? That is [album id=0]? I just want to be sure it’s not a more general problem.

As you probably saw, that short code SHOULD be fixed in 2.0.10. So a few questions:

*Can you go to your plugins page and confirm you are running 2.0.10
*Since you had to update manually to 2.0.20, are you confident/sure you uploaded all the new files successfully?
*Can you go to that page/post, just delete that shortcode and actually retype it. I know it will be the same, but I just want to try it.

If you’ve done all that and you are still having the issue, we’ll need to take another look at it. Please, if you can, submit a bug report. Even better if you’d be willing to submit WordPress and possibly FTP credentials here:
