Jukooz, how did you roll back to the other version?

I’ll need to do that too.

    Thanks!

    Wow, Annie. Not great. Apologies.

Here’s a guide for rolling back:
    https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/

Can you tell us if you had BBPress, Magic Fields, AMember, or Member Manage plugins installed when you updated? Also, are you on a windows-based hosting platform?

We’ve obviously seen some major issues from updating, and most are being trigger by conflicts with plugins. But we haven’t seen that particular error pattern before.

    Thanks,
    Erick

Thank you Erick. I successfully went back to the old version.

I had none of the plugins mentioned above.

    Annie,

Good to hear you were able to rollback successfully. If/when you feel comfortable updating again, we do have a beta available now that includes some major fixes to some known issues: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

Please note it is a BETA, and please follow the listed instructions carefully. Or, optionally you can wait until our final version v2.1 or v2.2. When you do, please let us know how it works for you.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Becky!

Drastically slowed my site down, especially on the page to where all the links to albums were. Not tolerable. I promptly reverted to previous and site is speedy again. Appears with the beta testing on released stuff and now other changes, I haven’t time to fart around with playing and trouble shooting. Reckon ya’ll gonna force me into a theme update sooner than expected to where I won’t need this plugin.

    End my partial rant

I just updated as well and it will not allow me to get back into my website. I recieve the following message no matter how I try to det in: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /homepages/16/d241978341/htdocs/glt2/wp-content/plugins/mint-sliders/mintfunc.php on line 116

Any advice on how to get back into my website would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

@kpurnell2: From your error message, it actually looks like a conflict with the Mint Sliders plugin. You can roll back following this, and it will restore and give you access:

    https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/

In the meantime, we’ll check what conflict may have triggered that with your other plugin.
