Require Email Address to vote

    It does not seem to be a feasible solution. We can’t control whether the user is giving any correct email or not (own email or a fake one). Also the same user may have multiple email ids and try with all those ids.

    Thanks for the reply. I understand it’s a difficult one and probably beyond the scope of your plugin. My client is hoping to capture contact details of people voting. They are aware of all the privacy details and ICANN laws involved with doing such a thing.

    We wouldn’t be looking to use the email address as a verification that someone had already voted, that be controlled as the plugin currently handles it. Just wanting to capture the email address.

    There would be the option of sending a confirmation email to the address entered as many other systems do. This would weed out any fakes or emails that didn’t belong to the voter.
