Slow Page Speed Problems

  • Apparently my website page speed is pretty darn slow. (My page speed score is about 76%). I’ve heard great things about W3 Total Cache so I installed the plug in. Unfortunately, I got this message: “If an option is disabled it means that either your current installation is not compatible or software installation is required.” And, yes, when I activated the top three most important components, it messed up my website. (But once I deleted, my site went back to normal.)

    Any suggestions on either another plugin or a way to make W3 work?

    FYI: I will start working on my own to speed things up by compressing photos, etc.
