Me again. ?? Sorry to bug you, but it would be also wonderful if we were able to have a choice between auto-embedding this within our posts (like it does now) or adding it to our themes manually. There are certain custom post theme that I have created that I do not want the related posts showing up in.

Thanks again for your time! =)

Just to see if I understood this.
You have some custom content layout and you don’t want to display related posts when this layout is used?

    Yup….pretty much.

Maybe it’s just easier to show you:

MOST posts I want the related posts to show, such as this:
    https://www.oceanleadership.org/astrobiology-an-infinity-of-plankton/

But others, I do NOT want the related posts to show, such as this one:
    https://www.oceanleadership.org/onw-week-of-july-15-2013-number-208/

It would be VERY cool if there was a check box in the editor to “Exclude Related Posts” or if we could turn off the auto-embedded of the script and manually call it from wherever we wanted it to display within the template(s).

    Hope this makes sense! =)

Hey wramos, I came up with a quick solution so you don’t have to wait for the upcoming updates.
    Need some details first.
The posts you are not wishing to display are under a specific category or have some specific tag?

On the next update I am planning to add an option to exlude desired categories from showing related posts but we can make this wirk for you right now.

    Vagenas,
They do typically fall under a specific category (or sub-category) and also have specific tags.

That is awesome to hear on the next update that you’re going to add this feature to exclude adding related posts using either tags and or categories. I really appreciate all your hard work and support!! =)

    Vagenas,

Any word or ETA on this? Will this feature be included in your next update? I love your plugin and would love to use it, but unfortunately I can’t until the option to exclude showing related posts in certain categories and or tags is implemented.

    Thanks!

    Hey Will,
I haven’t forgot your request and make some progress on it, but I have too much work lately to finish the next release.
At this time I can’t promise anything but maybe in the next 2-3 weeks will release a minor update in order to implement your requested function.
Anyway since you are still interested I’ll keep this thread updated

Thank you again for your kind words,
