Linking to Slugs

Amazing plugin; absolute lifesaver!
However, I am having a problem and hopefully you can help me out!!!
So I am working with a theme right now (Horizontal Grid Theme by Dessign.net) that has a pretty elaborate “portfolio” system built in to it. When you create a category, say for Example: JOURNAL, and you post something to that category, an image appears on the JOURNAL page; this image then links to a page where you can see the extensiveness of the “portfolio” along with a blurb of the “artwork.”
Right now I have 4 posts in the category JOURNAL (Magazine, Family Dinner, Wonderlust, and Collaborations). I have created separate categories/slugs for these 4 posts (e.g., magazine, family-dinner, etc.).
Here is my question … is it possible to link these four posts to their specific slugs? I want to use the layout of the portfolio page to link these individual posts/categories to separate (more specific) portfolio pages.
Is this possible with your plug in?
