• using version 1.9.13 of the plugin this is my first round of using nextgen gallery so i could be making an amateur mistake. the eero i recieve when nextgen is trying to create thumbnails is

“Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 50855936) (tried to allocate 12672 bytes) in /homepages/15/d288426889/htdocs/blahblah/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/gd.thumbnail.inc.php on line 179”

    any help would be appreciated

i am using 1&1 as my host and my raw images range from 3mg to 10mg my images are names as follows IMG_1234.jpg

I think i read somewhere that a file ending in a number could cause problems so i tried renaming a file but get the same error

    thank you for your help
