cannot change max number to display without critical errors

    Set this up and it worked flawlessly for a couple of days with max posts set to 5..

    Today I see this error…

Sorry, we're having trouble loading this Tumblr.

    Changing settings doesn’t fix the errors.

    Deactivating, then reactivating the widget fixes the error so long as I don’t change the max number of posts to display.

    if I change it from 10, the error returns and I have to go through above steps to fix the error.

    Any ideas?

    Seems like a glitch in the XML that’s generated by the Tumblr API. My guess is that something in the formatting of one of your posts is confusing things. Did you post something right before you began to see the error? If so, try unpublishing that post and see if the error persists.

    I am having the same exact problem. It was working for quite a long time then for some reason I was getting the XML error on line 137. I deactivated and reactivated and only changed the setting to my blog, left everything else at default. It worked great. As soon as I changed the number posts from 10 to 2 I had the error. No matter what I do I can only get results if I leave the post count at 10 and I don’t want to pull in my last 10 posts from tumblr. I’m not sure what deleting posts from tumblr will do since the error does not occur if you leave the widget at default changing only the tumblr blod address. The problem only occurs when you change the amount of posts to display.

    Sorry, I’m unable to duplicate this problem. If you’re still having the issue, could you post the URL of the Tumblr you’re trying to load?
