  • Try looking at folder permissions or your security set-up.

    Is it possible there is a problem at my webhotell (maybe its called webhost)?

    nothing ??

    I click on upload image when I’m on a page or a post and nothing happens its just blank.

    I contacted my webhost and they took a look at it and they responded like this:
    There seems to be some issue regarding the insertion of media. What you can do to go around this issue is to upload the images to a image hosting website and then adding them as links into your posts like I’ve done here:
    https:// (and the link)

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    I did the re-uploading I started from scratch and I also did the part resetting the plugins folder and also the switching to default theme, however I didnt try deactivating all plugins, so how do I do that?

    How did you reset the plugin folder? FTP? Or Phpmyadmin?

    well when I get into that page I’m so lost ;)so it says that under option_name to find the Active_plugins row, do I have to open a file?

    You need to be looking in your database.

    but I dont know where to find the active_plugins row
    2. Change the option_value field to: a:0:{}

    It’s in the wp_options table.
