• Is there any kind of WYSIWYG editor better than the one included in wordpress?

If not, is there any way to make font bigger and in color without having to manually edit the html code?

  • I would doubt it. The rich text editor is buggy, and sadly there are few replacements for it. Well, actually, I have heard of none at all ??

But you can change the font size and colour for every post using your CSS file. That way you can specify it once, and then that’s it!

this is such a shame, that editor can be so annoying, i have seen so many sites with great editors. WordPress is so great other than this one thing! many a time i have been forced to write an article else where and then paste it in to wordpress editor. I know you can tyrn it off but i need it to align artciles, images and so on…

What other WYSIWYG editors have you seen? I personally like having the ability to enter the code myself ??

But if you’ve seen examples that work better, you might be able to submit a suggestion to the developpers. I’m sure they’re working on it anyway, however. You can probably expect improvement with future releases.

Found this site to have WYSIWYG

It’s not bad a little different to the one that comes with the default package.

I’ve come here from yahoo and thought I’ll make apost to direct others who may have come this way.

I did a search on Yahoo for “wordpress editor” and this page came up 3rd on the list. So it’s important that the following link be included here.

Go here for all WYSIWYG editors.
