I use another plugin (Visitor Maps) to see who has visited. Then, I often see that some people have visited my site multiple times and attempted to access my Admin.php and other login files.

I blacklist them and then they come back with a similar IP address. For instance, this one from Luxembourg keeps trying to get to me:

    94.242.237.73
    94.242.237.126
    94.242.237.127
    94.242.237.124

How do I blacklist the whole block like: 94.242.237 ?

I’ve tried a wildcard but it doesn’t work. Any thoughts on this?

    Hi,

I am sorry about that, plugin does not support IP Block RANGE and may in upcoming versions I will add this option.

Currently, what you can do is, blacklist those IP addresses via .htaccess if you know how to edit it. OR via cPanel (of hosting account).

If you need help in that, please email me at: [email protected] so that I can assist you as quickly as possible ??

    Hi Adeel,

Any update on adding the option to block IP ranges? I have a few people trying to attack me on a regular basis with IP’s changing only in the last 3 or last 6 digits, so for me it would be very convenient to be able to block those as well.

I guess it would be a very useful addition to your great plugin.

(I was surprised to see how many attacks I was getting actually, after installing the plugin ;-))
