You could upload the files using an FTP client into the required gallery and use the scan gallery feature in Gallery Details to attach the newly uploaded video.

Is 32mb a limit? I’m uploading much larger videos?

This may be the limit imposed via the php.ini file for uploads. Check the file or work with your server admin if necessary.
