I have been traveling for the past six weeks so I don’t have a lot of time to spend on development. Regardless I took a look at the website and the slider seems to be working just fine. Perhaps you’ve already solved the issue?

As I said I needed to move on with the dev of the https://eitestsite(dot)eyeitalia(dot)com/ site.. So I replaced the NextGen Nivo Slider it with another Nivo Slider plugin for now.. But the problem is visible on the first site..

Same here my friend… I was using the jj nextgen jquery plugin but was having problems in Chrome with images flashing before transitions. Other forums suggested this plugin so I installed in latest WP 3.5.2 but no sliding. Tested in all latest browsers. Maybe the plugin is broken since latest WP update, or maybe it’s a conflict with other plugins or even a problem with the theme (I am using a child theme based on Twenty Ten). Whatever the reason, bit of a waste of time unless a fix is posted quickly. I’ve got to get this site up by the end of the week and the developer is away traveling…

Yep.. Fortunately Catalyst (the theme framework I’m using) has a Nivo slider plugin available only to Catalyst users so it allowed me to move forward with my other project.. The problem is that I would PREFER to use my NextGen Galleries with the Nivo slider. It gives me some gallery control options that the Catalyst plugin doesn’t provide.. The JJ NextGen plugin is WAY out of date, but this one seems to be problematic now as well.. Means I’ll be stuck with a NON NextGen Nivo solution until this one is fixed or another one comes along.. **shrugs**
