• I’ve tried to install WordPress at least 5 times. Each time I’ve downloaded new copies, and I keep getting the same errors. I tried from both a Mac and a PC – and I tried looking for blank white spaces as I read here in the forums and I found none. The errors are:

Warning: Unable to access /home/jblue/public_html/knit2/wp-includes/languages/en_US.mo in /home/jblue/public_html/knit2/wp-includes/wp-l10n.php on line 66

Warning: Cannot add header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/jblue/public_html/knit2/wp-includes/wp-l10n.php:66) in /home/jblue/public_html/knit2/wp-admin/install.php on line 16

    Can anyone help?

  • Did you change the wp-config.php file to have the language option as en_US?
You don’t have to if you are using the out of the box English version. That line in the config file should be modified ONLY if the user plans to install a language other than English.

    No, I didn’t change anything but DB_NAME, DB_USER, and DB_PASSWORD.
And it’s accessing the database just fine.

No one has any clue? I assure everyone that I only changed the database name and password – and the prefix so I can install several times. I haven’t changed any other code and I have no idea how to fix this. Help, please!
