Yes anything is possible…I believe there is already a free plugin available that lets you switch from grid to list via JS. Please search for it in the plugins list.

its funny the power of a word. I changed my search word from grid to list and found what I was looking for (sort of)

while there isn’t a full fix yet, there seams like these hack abouts will work.
