How to list Pages in sidebar by DESC Page Order?

    My Pages are ordered by the assigned Page Order #. The newer the page, the higher the Page Order # will be.

    I like to display them on the left sidebar.

    I can set the Pages displayed by Page Order.

    But I cannot find a place where I can set it in DESC order.

    Is there such option in this Celestial – Lite theme?

    If not, which file I can modify to add the DESC feature?

  • Not quite sure what you are wanting to do here…are you referring to the pages widget? Also, when you say pages, do you mean pages or posts?

    Yes, I set up Blog Left Sidebar with Pages widget.

    From there, I can set Sort by Page Order, but no option to set it in DESC order. The default is ASC.

    As mentioned, I assign Page Order to every Page (POST does not have the option to set Page Order #). The newer the page, the higher the Page Order #. So I like to display in DESC order (latest on top).

    Not sure if I make myself clear enough?
    Let me know if there is anything more you need to know.
    Would be more than happy to elaborate more.

    I can edit php file if necessary to get the DESC order I need if you can point to me which file to work on.

    This will definitely be a WordPress thing, but off the top of my head I think there’s really only a couple options of either customizing the pages widget or find a plugin that will do what you want. I came across this post:
