Footer Messed Up after updating

Was this because of a WordPress upgrade or a theme upgrade?

The problem that I see is that the outer-footer DIV seems to be embedded within the green-sidebar DIV instead of coming after it.

I didn’t do any editing or moving of widgets, etc. I just went in yesterday and got caught up on all updates. So, it probably is the theme I bet! I had about 8 total things to update and just did them all and then once I did them I looked at the site and it looked like this :/

Do you know how to edit the theme to fix this issue?

Not all of those are a problem – but the missing or extra or unclosed or stray tags can cause problems like you see.

Yeah, I’m thinking one of the widgets in the green-sidebar is missing a closing DIV tag, which is why the footer is getting enclosed by the sidebar.

Ahhh thank you thank you! I went through widgets and figured out which one! I must not have noticed it when I changed that widget a couple days ago and thought it was an issue after the updates!
