• I’m new at this so please bear with me. I’ve searched the archives and can’t see that anyone else has had this problem so I guess it’s me (though I didn’t touch it, I swear! lol)
    I have this line of code in index.php just above <div class=”post”>
    <?php the_date(”,'<h2>’,'</h2>’); ?>
    but nothing appears on the blog itself. I get the post title, etc but not the date above.
    any ideas?
    thanks!
    mate

  • How about providing a link so we can have a look-see?

    You have not be any chance been in options/other options and inadvertently reset the format of the date to not display at all?

    Another line of enquiry. If in css you have edited the h2 rule, that would affect the date which is in an h2 tag. In the worst case if the font equals bg color you can see the problem. Just a thought.
