Cannot find footer text to change it!

  • This is driving me nuts! I’ve been looking through all my theme files and WP files to find the copyright text in the footer so I can change it and I can’t find it anywhere!

    Can anyone tell me where it might be? I know some versions of WP (or certain themes anyway) allow you to edit the footer text right in the Appearance admin, but that option isn’t there.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Looks like someone created the theme via Artisteer. I see it in source view within

    <div class=”art-footer-text”>Copyright 2013 The Midnight Palace. All Rights Reserved. </div>

    Look for that div block and change the text.
