Yes, i can add numerical pagination but when i review the WordPress related content so it seems rare if someone is having posts starting with a number. But yes i can give one sign “#” in start so all the posts starting with numbers will be listed. And yes, it will work with pagination too so you can navigate through archives and categories too.

Ahhh… I think I have continued to misspeak!

By numerical I meant when you have say an archive and you have *pages* of results. i.e. say 8 excerpts on the first page, 8 more on page two of the results, etc., etc.

So.. to see I can be more clear.. …to give the viewer the choice of Alphabetic Pagination or the standard (likely date-based) choice of page 1, page 2, etc. of the results.

Then revisiting my original question as well… What happens with your Alphabetic Pagination if someone selects “D” and there are more than one page of results? Does it then display numbered pages of results?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I got it. Yes it works as you are expecting. Because i am using WordPress function add_query_arg which adds the query argument in existing query string instead of replacing the old one. I hope you have already experienced it.

    Thanks,
    Fahad
