Media files not uploading to wordpress library

    I uploaded media files by

    1. From wp dashboard,wp upload. No error message. However the files are not in either the wp-library nor the Upload folder on root (FTP).

    2. I uploaded them via FTP to an older file. /upload/3013/05 (now July)
    I see they have been upload to server but do not appear in my wordpress media file.

    I recently moved my site to a new sub-domain on the same server. Images uploaded to the old site are ok as long as I uncheck ‘Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders’ When checked…no image appears.
    I tried reverting to default theme without success.
    wp-content and upload folder permissions are 755.

    I’m guessing it’s a database issue.
