downgrade

hello there,
i just started a new blog and made immedeately the first most stupid mistake:
i downgraded myself to author (sent an invitation to my own email address). now i can’t enter anymore as a host, to change the settings…
please, help!!! does anyone have a clue how to get out of this misery?
