While editing blog posts I can't preview them?

  • When I was editing my blog posts I couldn’t seem to preview them, I would be sent to my homepage. This has started recently when I added a new directory under my site and when I updated my wordpress to 3.5

    On top of that my website’s homepage will not change or update when I try to switch out the hompage blocks. I’ve been researching for an answer and I’ve tried the whole plugins activating and deactivating but it didn’t work. I’ve also tried deleting cache and other simple trouble shooters.

    I’m just looking for some help or advice on what to do next. Thank you.

    I’m also having an issue with my homepage black bar when working in the backend of my wordpress site. It seems that everytime I go to my homepage the black bar is missing and I have the setting for it checked.
