Downloading file for editing

  • What file are you trying to edit? Generally, you should not modify theme files at all, as your changes will be overwritten and lost when the theme is updated.

    Thanks for your interest.
    I want to download the file I pasted into the WP edit text box. Since the file is too big, I can no longer open the WP text edit box containing it. So I’m thinking of editing the downloaded file and replacing the old file with the newly-edited one.
    I fixed the old file, which was under “draft” to “published”, so it should be visible….
