Hi I am just about brand new to wordpress and coding in general but I am working my way up the learning curve.

I am using the Agnosia Bootstrap Carousel by AuSoft to make a carousel for my home page and I really like it but Im having trouble with one part.

There is a gray bar at the bottom that is normally used to display the title of the image being shown, but I have the titles disabled. The bar is still there and sticks out past the right side of the image. The left side lines up perfectly, but the right side sticks out about 20 px further than the edge of the picture. the scroll button on the right seems to be missing the edge as well. I tried fooling with the images I was using to see if that worked (making them smaller and larger and going from jpeg to png) but cant get it to change at all.

you can see my page here 2ndstorygoods.us (its really rough right now)

    Any help is really appreciated!
    Thanks
    Brandon

Hi, Brandon. Thanks for your comments on the plugin ??

I’m not seeing the issue that you mention right now. Have you managed to resolve it? Either way, what I do see is that the upper right indicators are not working. By looking at your source code, I noticed that you’re using the BootstrapPress plugin in order to include Bootstrap in your site. You should check that your version of that plugin is updated to the latest one (0.0.4), which includes the latest version of Bootstrap (2.3.2), since an older version of Bootstrap could not work well with a recent one of jQuery, like the one in WordPress 3.5.2.

    Hi Andres,
Thanks for getting back to me, I did resolve the issue. The problem was that the theme i am using as a parent (2011) had a setting in the CSS to automatically re-size all images to 97.5%. I don’t quite understand why, but after i changed that setting everything lined right up.

    Thanks
    Brandon

That’s great! Since the issue was not related to my plugin, may I kindly ask you to modify your review? A better qualification really improves the number of downloads of the plugin, and with a low one, some people may think that it’s broken, which is not.

    Thanks again for your comments!

    Hey Andres,
Im not sure if this is the right place to post or not but I have another questian if you have a second to answer. I need to make the pictures on the carousel links to other pages. This sounds so simple but I can’t seem to figure it out. Ideally I would like to be able to add clickable buttons to the pictures to different pages, however I would settle on just making the carousel items into definable links.

    Thanks!
    Brandon

    P.s. changed that review!

Hi, sorry for the delay; I was out of the internet for the weekend.

I fear that what you try to do is not possible with the current version of the plugin, but it’s something we plan to include in the next version, which will be released this week.

    Cheers!
