• Hi Guys,

My site https://liferature.com is hosted under WP.org. Now I want to shift back to https://zhouhao.wordpress.com (WP.com). Since most visitors are familiar with the formal, I would like to create an redirection, i.e: all hits to liferature.com be directed to zhouhao.wordpress.com. And since I simply export and import the contents from .org to .com, would it be also possible to redirect a particular post from .org to the matching post at .com?

Any kind soul could offer a easy method for this? Thanks so much

    Regards,
    ZH

  • Add this to the very top of .htaccess of .org site:

    Redirect 301 / https://zhouhao.wordpress.com/

Above will redirect the whole site…all pages, posts, cats, tags, etc.

If you have others sites at this hosting account, you may need to specify the whole domain instead of / and make sure this rule is in the .htaccess file of the root (folder) of this wp.org install or it may redirect the other sites.
