  • Hi monstertaco,

I would suggest first trying to deactivate all other plugins to see if there is maybe another plugin conflicting with ours and causing problems. If that doesn’t help, try switching to the default WordPress theme. It could be an incompatibility with your theme. Another thing to check is the date settings in Settings > General. Make sure they are not set to “Custom” and blanked out as this will cause problems with the dates displaying.

    I hope that helps!

Thanks! The custom settings were messing up the date and time so those are fixed ??

But the future events still aren’t showing up in list view. Any other suggestions?

    Hi monstertaco,

Did you try deactivating all other plugins and/or reverting to the default WordPress theme?

It seems to be an issue with my Elegant Theme ;(

I use this plugin in another ET called Styleshop and it works great: https://www.sarocks.org/events/upcoming/

but not sure why this one called Evolution wouldn’t work. I also have this site: https://www.quarryfarmersmarket.com/events/
with the ET SimplePress for the same client where the calendar isn’t showing up at all, no list, no grid, nothing. I know you can’t give ET help but anything I can try I’d appreciate it.

    Hi monstertaco,

Try changing the Events Template in Events > Settings > Template – that may work for you.

On the Quarry site I posted it will only work with the events default template and none of my theme’s templates. I’m not completely satisfied with the look but it’s good enough and my client doesn’t mind. As far as the first site I inquired about where the list version isn’t showing up I think I’ll just have to go in and take out the code giving the list view option. Thanks for your help though!

Where can I find the file to change the title “Calendar of Events”?

    Hi monstertaco,

The easiest way is to change it using this snippet: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/5806869 – and replacing:

    'Calendar of Events', 'tribe-events-calendar'

I hope that helps but let me know if you have any other questions.

Hmmm… Hope I don’t sound too dumb but where exactly do I use that snippet? I was hoping to be directed to the views file that houses the title or header.

    Hi monstertaco,

You would put that in your theme’s functions.php file.

Let me know if you need anything else.
