• I get an error on the upload media page. It starts to upload, then stops and says:

    Error imagenamehere.gif HTTP error.

    Anyone else having this?

FYI, I just deactivated ALL plugins and tried to upload an image again. STILL GET THE ERROR!

    Help!

Have you tried uploading image with Twenty Twelve theme with all plugins off?

Yes. Still getting same exact error.

Can you link to your site?

I ended up doing a complete reinstall of WP, down to the Twenty=Twelve theme and NO plugins and it STILL gives the error. Is there some way I can send you a link to the site privately?

Sorry, whatever support is available from www.remarpro.com is only through these forums. No private messaging or email or other kinds of support is provided.

I can’t add any pictures. No window pops up or anything!

Singinglawlady, maybe it really is a mess-up then. at a higher level, you know? Maybe as other people start having the problem the devs will fix it?

Krishna, well, you don’t really need the link to the site now anyway as it is all default again and still having the exact same error. ?? So, I”m hoping that if enough people start asking for help on it, a solution or fix will be found and posted. Maybe the update itself really did break something for a lot of people? ??

Having the exact same problem here – except there is no error message – just no response at all when you try to add media. I repeated the upgrade to 3.5.2 just to check and it changed nothing.

Also if you try to create a link, there is nothing in the box to link to – it’s empty even though there are many many pages and posts to link to.

Are you able to upload small images? under 128k? I am having the HTTP error on 3 sites with 3.5.2. I did a completely fresh install and still could not upload any media greater than 128k w/o the error.

FcgidMaxRequestLen –>This is causing the problem. Before updating to the newest version, it was default set to 1gb. Now it is 128kb. Add the following to the file /etc/apache2/conf.d/fcgid.conf :

    FcgidMaxRequestLen 1073741824

This wil give you a limit of 1gb. Next, restart your apache.

Hi, I’m also having same issue and I’m not good in using programming code.

Any simple way to resolve this? Will WP do another update to help?
