Search results page reorder

    Using the “search listings” button from the directory page, the result is a page that lists the results at the bottom of the page with the advance search options on the top – I find this confusing because it appears that there are no results returned. Is it possible to either remove the advance search options from that resulting page or reorder the page so that the results show above the options?

    Hi Sue,

    This will be possible in our next release (to hide the search form on the results page). We’re planning to have that out by early next week, at the latest.

    Thanks – I guess I am a week early. The programming is working great – thanks for the plug in. Will there be much to do to upgrade? Will it retain the listings I have already entered (Oh I pray that it does!)?

    Hi Sue,

    Yes, the listings will be retained (they always are on upgrade–wouldn’t be a useful plugin if we kept deleting you data, now would it?)

    The upgrade should just be like any other plugin upgrade–go to the dashboard, click on the link, follow the instructions, and done.

    It is very confusing for visitors to have the search results displayed underneath the search form.

    You can show/hide the search form in the results now as of 3.2. What version are you using?
