Custom Community Slide show id

  • Hi.

    I am trying to add a slideshow into the page using the custom community short codes.. ( just purchased the pro version.)

    I am not getting what the slideshow id is and where to get it.
    Here is what custom community has for shortcodes to place into the site..

    I can’t get it to work but can get all the other short codes to work.

    Any suggestions? I think I am not understanding the short code steps for this as it seems different to the rest of the options they provide?

    I guess my question is… what is this [cc_slideshow id= and how do I find the slide show number to get it so show?

    Any leads would be great.. They say you can put as many slide shows as you want on a page/post but must give a different ID.. where is it?

  • Aparently theres a bug in Version 1.16 which makes the slideshow shortcodes useless, at least it does for me. There should be a fix in the NeXT Version which should be out any day now.

    Anyway, the ID, I think, can be anything you want as long as you don’t have the same number on two or more on the same page/post.

    the slideshow ID is madeup by you, it can be any number, the only important thing is, that you don’t have two slideshows running on the same page with a same ID, otherwise they will just stop and not slide anymore (jquery would not run properly, as it needs IDs).

    the slideshow shortcode bug will be fixed in the next version, we are working on the latest fixes. end of the week the new version will be tested and then published ASAP.
