Super Cache makes my current page "invisible"
-
Very curious behavior. Super Cache was working great. Then there was a huge wordpress cyber attack on a variety of hosts. After installing and then deactivating BulletProof Security plugin, trying to add info to .htaccess (per InMotionHosting directions) and finally having them remove the site restrictions they’d installed my site was almost back up. Almost.
Here’s what’s wrong. If SuperCache is “off” all is well on my comicpress site chuckladuck.com. But if SuperCache is “on” then this occurs: When you come in to chuckleaduck.com the current page loads, no problem. The navigation arrows give you the choice of “first” or “previous”. Excellent. But if you choose “previous” the navigation arrows are STILL only displaying “first”, “previous”, as if this cartoon that posted yesterday IS the most recent. No way to access the actual current cartoon.
If SuperCache is “off” then instead of “first”, “previous” what’s displayed is the correct (and working) choices “first”, “previous”, “next”, “last”.
This inability to “see” that the current cartoon is actually the current one and instead act as if the prior one is the most recent is quite odd (and bad, obviously). Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
