FATAL ERROR !

    I got my confirmation email from wordpress:

    “Your new WordPress blog has been successfully set up at:

    https://____urdomain__.com/cgi/wp-admin

    You can log in to the administrator account with the following information:

    Username: ____
    Password: ____

    ______________________
    BUT THIS IS WHAT I GET IN both IE and FireFox:

    Fatal error: Failed opening required ‘../wp-config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear’) in /www/cgi/wp-admin/admin.php on line 5

    I’ve disabled, and cleared Mission Control, re-installed, uninstalled files in cgi on my server.

    Can someone Please Help Me?

  • Um, you’re installing it in your CGI subdirectory. It’s not a CGI script but a webbased one. Try installing it within your normal web accessable directory. CGIs are something different.
