• I’ve had issues with hosting legally contentious stuff on the internet, but nothing that would upset the average Joe and Jill.

In the UK, someone only need phone up your ISP or web host and the plug is pulled.

How many people, who run blogs, could point me in the direction of a web hosting company with a good reputation for hosting legally or politically contentious material?

I have a free blog, but would like to purchase some server space with the understanding that my hosts would not cave in to some crying letter off some dodgy politician here in this increasingly tyranical country.

    Any ideas people?

  • I love godaddy.com – they don’t really care what you post, just so long as you pay them. And they’re pretty affordable (for my taste anyway, which is CHEAP) and I’ve always had good support with them (though some people might differ on experiences).

have you ever heard of administry.org?

contact them and see what they have to say.

i agree with lady … find someone who only cares that they get paid …

Thanks for the replies, I’ll check out the options and have at least heard of ‘go daddy’.

If anyone has any more suggestions let us know.
