Help killing wrong trackback link ping

Hello all,
My blog is being pinged excessively by an IP looking for a trackback
It looks like this:
https://leighm.net/blog/index.php/2006/04/26/and-our-oil-is-still-under-their-sand-insurgents-cripple-iraq-oil-sector-reuters/trackback/_The trailing underscore is incorrect and is causing the trackback to go to my main page.
20 times …and that’s just in the last hour.
It seems to be from this IP: 65.39.251.54
I’ve tried using robots.txt to no avail.
I’ve also tried resetting the trackback url.Any suggestions?
