posts name not displaying fully on image slider (front page)`

does this also happen if you activate minimatica directly?

hmm, yea happens regardless of whether i’m using minimatica (parent theme) or child theme

What I meant was the post title is hidden on the slider cos only part of the image is displayed in the slider (with part of its left side hidden, hence hiding the post title at the same time).
