Nothing will load in the backend

    I have had the problem for awhile that I cannot seem to backup my rather large site via BackupWordpress plugin, as it times out…But now I cannot seem to get anything to load in the backend. The dashboard will load but the minute I click on anything (plugins, posts, etc), it just sticks in the “Connecting” loop and nothing happens.

    I have the latest WP install and there appears to only be on plugin that currently needs an update, but I cannot get to it to update it. I don’t know what to do to get it out of this neverending loading loop!

  • Hey Tina,

    I’d suggest connecting to your server via FTP and renaming your plugins directory, that will force all plugins to deactivate. If you can then get into your dashboard then you know the problem lies with one of your plugins. Start activating them one at a time until you find which one is breaking things.
