individual newsletters for each author

    This is a pre-sales question.

    I’m building a multi-vendor site like Envato or Etsy. I’ll have individual ‘sellers’ all living under one WP install.

    Each seller/author will have a defined role.

    Can Subscribe2 be configured so that each seller/author can communicate with JUST their sub-set of interested customers?

    i.e. Author A, Author B and Author C sell widgets – As, Bs, and Cs. I only care about when Author C creates another fantastic C2. I would only like to get emails from Author C and NOT the entire ABCDEFGHIJ store/blog.

    I suspect this could be done if you used WordPress in multisite mode and have a blog for each author. Or if you forced all subscribers to register and then gave each author their own category to post under.

    Your example is a very specific installation so I suspect it can be made to work but it may well need to be configured in a particular way or altered to meet your specific demands.
