Thank you for the awesome plugin!

    It works perfectly.

The only thing that doesn’t want to work is the email auto responder.
I just don’t get a email after purchasing on paypal. I already checked my spam folder.

I’m on a godaddy hosting. Can it be because of that or should it work there normally too?

    Thank you in advance

I now also installed the plugin WP Mail SMTP with the settings from the tutorial (https://www.fastsecurecontactform.com/godaddy-email) but still no luck.

My contact form works with all these settings in this tutorial but paypal responder still doesn’t want to work ??

Did you ensure that the ‘from’ email address is a legit address and check your spam/junk folder? Because if it’s a generic or test email address then often your email client will pick this up and mark it spam… so it appears to you that the auto-responder isn’t working.

    Thanks Maeve for the response!

Yes I checked everything and tried to use different email addresses but sadly nothing works.
Sadly I still don’t get any email out.

Love the idea of this plugin! Well, half of it. The email responder has a real problem. I have logged what is happening and from what I see, the email responder is picking up my own Paypal email address and not that of the buyer, so it is really impossible to respond. But even then, an email to me is logged as being sent by WordPress, but I never receive it.

I have to agree with earlier comments. No email out, no responder.

I have to update my previous comment. I now have the email responder working. ( I hope!) However, I think that while it works, it is a bit blind, so it can be difficult to know if emails are being sent accurately. I would love to see a log file or some record details of emails that have been sent. Would it be possible?

Yes that’s a good idea bobsled. I saw your previous comment and have made a note to check into it further. I’d like to add PayPal Sandbox and at the same time also provide some logs to help see what’s happening in this scenario. Thanks for your input.
