Endless loading when access to wp-admin folder is blocked in .htaccess

Hi,
I noticed that when I blocked wp-admin folder with .htaccess, users started to see endless loading when trying to rate the post.
Is there any way to solve this except permitting wp-admin? (otherwise brute-force => higher loading)
