• Is it possible to edit this? When I look inside it I can only see the possibility of giving it a title.
I’d like to delete the lines for:
    Entries RSS
    and
    Comments RSS
as I use Feedburner feeds, and showing the WP feeds on the same sidebar confuses readers and messes up my stats.
Can anyone help? I’ve spent hours looking for an answer but have not been able to find anything.

Short of editing the widget’s code itself, no, that part is not customizable.

To edit it, open widgets.php in a text editor and search for “widget_meta($args)”. That’s the function that displays the widget on the page. Edit this as you see fit.

If you don’t want to edit your php. You can just create a text widget that has the html code for the meta widget.

    1. Use the meta widget
    2. Save page and open your webpage
    3. View source of your page
    4. Copy the section where your meta widget code shows up
    5. Back in widget panel, open a text box and plug in the widget code changing it to what you want.
    6. You are done.
