search on custom fields only

Hi,

To restrict the search results add a new search field to your form, make the data type “Post Type”, make the input “Hidden Input” and make the constant value (in the widget options) “CATALOGO” or whatever the post_type is called in the database. This should then only search for posts of that type.

Unfortunately at the minute, each field has no knowledge of what’s been searched in other fields so it’s not possible to limit the options based on the post type. If it’s a dropdown field you’re using though you could manually specify all valid options if there’s not too many?
